About the Event
Sybil Deborah Wolk, known to all as Debby, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, at the age of 86, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Debby was born on September 9, 1939, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Sam and Ethel Levey (z”l). Debby married Bob Wolk in 1959, a love story that spanned more than six decades. Together, they raised four children: Sara Wolk Bernstein (Burton Bernstein), Rachel Wolk (David Feiler), Jessie Wolk (John Borba), and Seth Wolk. Later, she became Baube (grandmother) to Hannah Bernstein (Jordan Marino) and Moses Wolk.
She is preceded in death by her older brother, Alan Levey (survived by Joanie Levey) and survived by siblings Annette Levey, Bob Levey (Judith Baer), Sylvia Grant, Dan Levey (Suzanne Weinstein), and 30 nieces and nephews. Her extended family of "adopted" children, grandchildren, and dear friends are too many to count, a testament to her kindness, open home, and delicious cooking.
